AMAZING and deserving of every star Sep 09, 2010 I gave this book 5 stars because for me and my experiences this book was well worth it. I had gotten to a point where I was tired of "diets" and working out till I was beat all the time. This book teaches you how to eat well, enjoy life, but still lose weight. It's like she just gives you all the secrets to becoming thin. I went from a lifetime of yo yo-ing to becoming physically and emotionally free from my battle with weight. It's easy to read, and you feel as if you are sitting right next to her. She walks you through each and every concept and uses many examples that make it so easy to apply these to your life. What I loved most about her approach is that she doesn't encourage "dieting". She doesn't tell you what to eat or how much to eat. It's all about what you like and what you are trying to accomplish. It's a no nonsense approach to eating and living a fun and healthy lifestyle. I had known a great deal of information about nutrition and exercise before reading this book, and I even learned new tricks. Most of the concepts are common sense and her ideology on weight loss is the best I've ever heard. I read the book once, took notes, and am reading it again. Another plus is that she includes recipes at the end of each chapter. So if you love to cook or have a family and still want to eat healthy you can do so. I encourage any and everyone who struggles with their weight to read this. If not even for her principles, her approach to weight loss. The title doesn't lie. It will "free you from a lifetime of dieting"!
I've lost 15 pounds since I bought this book 6 weeks ago Sep 04, 2010 The title of my review says it all, everyone, and I will continue to lose until I reach my goal weight. Some of the info in this book I'd heard before; some not. I now understand I don't have to listen to my food noise anymore and for me, that's the secret to losing weight and keeping it off - forever. Thank you, Bethenny Frankel, from a now naturally thin girl.
Naturally Thin by Bethenny Frankel Aug 30, 2010 I was extremely disappointed in the book-i thought it was total nonsense and a waste of money! I would never purchase another book by Bethenny Frankel.
Bethenny has done it! Aug 23, 2010 I usually don't order diet books but because I love the recipes that Bethenny has on her web site I decided to see what all they hype was about her diet books and here is what I found.
Bethenny has NOT written a 'diet book' like all the millions out there but she has written a change of life instructional. This is one of the best books I have read that allows the person who is wanting to change themselves from the normal dieter to one who can live and eat as a normal person does.
I am not overweight but find that my cooking leaves a lot to be desired with the ingrediants I use daily. Bethenny has taken the foods I love and turned them into nutritious delicious recipes that are full of taste as well as good for your body!
I will continue to follow Bethenny through her books and websites! She has turned my kitchen into a healthy place with taste!
I recommend this book to those who are wanting to change their eating habits as well as lose weight or getting healthy!
Great read! Filled with a lot of chuckles along the way

changed my life Aug 22, 2010 I am nearly 60 and over the past 2 decades have put on 30 pounds. I have never been a successful dieter. This book has changed my life. I have a totally different attitude about food and eating after reading it. It is as if my head got unscrewed and then screwed on properly with regard to food. For the first time in my life I feel in control when it comes to my weight. I have lost weight because I now listen to my body and give it what it needs rather than just eating for the sake of eating. Bethanny gives lots of practical tips but more than that, she makes you think about food in a whole different way. This book is the best!
